The Incas created an organic and ecological farming system by living in harmony with the earth. They respected seasonality and held sacred harvesting ceremonies in tune with nature’s rhythms.
Thanks to this ancient respect for nature, Peru’s land today offers one of the richest biodiversities on the planet. The region’s varied climatic zones — from the Pacific coast, across the Andes mountains, to the lush Amazon rainforest — have fostered the organic growth of emblematic plants and exotic botanical species.
